Mission Statement
Mission Statement: The Muskoka Aquatic Club is a not-for-profit, youth-based competitive swim team dedicated to developing athlete-centered, parent-supported, and coach-directed programming for individuals interested in competitive swimming. We strive to maximize each athlete’s potential so they can pursue their goals while developing into confident, capable individuals. Our program is rooted in an environment of friendship, teamwork, and mutual respect. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment where all athletes feel they belong. Participation is open to individuals of all ages, races, ethnicities, genders, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We strive to create a culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported throughout their journey in our sport. We support both individual and team success through skill development and by cultivating qualities essential to achievement in competitive swimming and in life, including resilience, perseverance, work ethic, reliability, integrity, sportspersonship, leadership, citizenship, adaptability, determination, and humility. We believe excellence is achieved by meeting challenges and setbacks with an unwavering commitment to growth and continuous improvement.
Club Goal: Our collective goal is to establish and sustain a reputation as one of Ontario’s leading small competitive swim clubs defined not only by results in the pool, but by the character of our athletes, the strength of our community, and the standards of excellence we uphold every day.
